Global Road Safety Leadership Course: Initiative Partners
Building leadership capacity to design, advocate for, and implement effective
road safety programs and policies.
Since 2016, the Johns Hopkins International Injury Research Unit and Global Road Safety Partnership – with support from Bloomberg Philanthropies – have trained more than 400 passionate road safety professionals from more than 50 low- and middle-income countries via the Global Road Safety Leadership Course.
The course aims at building leadership capacity to design, advocate for, and implement effective road safety programs and policies. Each offering includes, among others, sections on:
- Road safety management
- Safer roads and mobility
- Safer vehicles
- Safer road users
- Post-crash response
